Not only that, but I would have to purchase an RE hood to mold off of. I think it is possible

don't you also have to change the hood design like 10% or it will be illegal copying i read that in a post about the gp sports kit design about a month ago

what would the color ones look like? I am interested but not any time soon. I would like a red one but I would need to see it first.

Yo,

Dave, this is hard for me to say...but...

For once I envy a TII owner. *grin*

Damn, those guys do an awesome job. Gotta love pre-preg and big autoclaves and alla that.

Now, just make this in CF:

Don't worry about the side vents, they're optional. This is the cleanest "Vented" hood IMO.

Is FI going to do your NA hoods next? Or you staying with the current people?

Way to support the FC community and getting this done.

You the man!

is the hoodscoop on that CF TII hood functional?
I don't see the rubber surround that seals onto the TMIC...

it is an exact replica of the TII hood?

by the way mine dont come with the sliding stock style hinge bolts or the latch either. Props for having it looks so stock, but then again mine are different than stock, and the price comes at a price as well but from a person that makes these things I really like that product and sure it is worth the price.

Dave, do you think that's doable?

Just don't let RE Amemiya find out about it. Last person who copied their stuff got sued pretty fast.

The rubber seal can be used off of a stock TII hood. It is an exact copy of the stock hood.

We are working on 2-3" wider CF fenders and a front and rear bumper as well in CF. Those won't be released for a bit though.

If we did a hood, it wouldn't be an exact copy I don't think. I have some ideas for a hood that resembles the RE hood, but the vents are a bit different.

Dltreezan, thanks for the words. I think this is one of the most civilized threads this forum has ever had. People here can share opinions, but not just flat their gums. It's quite refreshing I may have to post here more if it continues.

We will work on some different designs for a reverse vented hood, then see what people think.

Chris - that's a negative ghost rider...the pattern is full
