700º C (1,292º F)would make steel glow red-hot. so anything at a 1,000º C (1,832º F) rating would be fine.

EDIT: put in ºF for everyone
I JUST realized the *F thing. Yes, yes you are right. 1000*C would be more then enough. Even 900*C. But uh..good luck finding that for anything less then gold..

Yeah, I just noticed that he said anything above 1000 C would be fine, too.
