Question Paint idea!

I want to paint my car but the issue is that the car's floor is also badly rusted. So i was thinking about swaping everything to another car or strip it and send it to a bodyshop!

What do you guys think?

Whichever is cheaper... And if money is not a matter, swap to another car. Maybe you do or do not have five lugs, 4 pot brake calipers, etc... The "much wanted" items with great benefits.

That's a horrible idea. You should be punished for being the first person to ever consider doing this.

I'd recommend buying a cleaner car from a southern state and swapping everything over. That's what I did, and it's totally worth it.

Extensive rust repair is really expensive and there's always the chance that the car doesn't recover fully.

take a pill, i could smell the sarcasm and kidding in his reply from 10 miles away.

dump the rotted shell, it will cost more to fix than you want to spend. you're talking thousands to repair a rotted out floorpan and the car will never be the same and that is still before you add in costs to repaint.. look for a decent condition shell that might not even need paint.
