Oil in the intake line is fairly normal. Is it excessive? Does the car smoke alot? Shaft play on the turbo?

Yes it does smoke some, but not heavy, really light smoke, and it doesnt really linger, you can just tell its dirty exhaust. I hope that helps. It also looks black when it comes out too.

have you checked you turbo's condition,
Ie:
shat play amount of oil in turbo intake,
amount of front to back (checks thrust barring) of compressor,
if it is too much it would be a good time to have the turbo rebuilt while it most likely can still be salvaged.

Well, there is an oil line running to the turbo. Older turbos tend to start sending excessive oil into the intake area, especially if they are overboosted.

Might be time for a new turbo.
