oil seal springs>?

it seems that noone seems to care about oil seal springs? but so many of us have leaky oil seals.. any commentS?
RA doesnt even offer them in their rebuild kit, and atkins only includes them in the C package.

if you've got the money i'd say replace them. unless they're way within spec. you aren't sealing anything without new rubber tho.

ok i know its thread is waaaay old. but on the topic of oil seal springs, does it matter which side you put the springs on the rotor? i have the springs from each rotor seperated however, within each rotor i dont know which of the larger springs goes on which side. does it matter? becuase i cannot find the paint on each of the springs...
