Oil pressure sensor

The electrical connector that goes to my oil pressure sensor is missing. Any ideas where I can get a similar replacement connector? Any ideas on a make shift connector?

Take a regular female spade connector, spread the "wings" till they clear the stem on the sensor.
Slide on as stock.

I don't know how to say this nicely so I'll just say it. The above advice won't work very well.

The better choice is to grab a common .250" female quick disconnect and test fit it on the oil pressure sensor terminal. Shove it on sideways. Does that make sense? If necessary, open it up a little with a small screwdriver until it fits like stock.

It's best to use the so called waterproof connectors and just trim a little of the plastic. It's plastic covered like stock, not open and exposed like ghetto.

You just described exactly the same thing I did.

Both of your suggestions sound the same to me.

This is what I was talking about.
Dorman/Female fully insulated waterproof quick-disconnect terminal (86408) | Electrical Wire Connector | AutoZone.com

Usually refered to as a quick disconnect, not spade lug terminal.

This is usually refered to as a spade lug terminal.

Bit of a difference there. Maybe a regional dialect sort of thing? But then I understand some regions also call any kind of soda a Coke. "what kinda coke you wan?" "I'll have the clear one with 7up on the bottle, thanks".

Some people say "pop" instead of soda.
I was referring to the first example, so I've amended my vocabulary to eliminate the confusion.

And technically, the "spade" connector that most people talk about is called a "quick connect". See the Waytek catalog. While the "spade" actually looks like a spade.
