oil pressure gauge NO WORKIE !

Question oil pressure gauge NO WORKIE !

ever since my friends and i took out my power steering in my 87 n/a. my oil pressure gauge hasnt worked... im thinking maybe something came unplugged but i have checked and i see nothing un plugged.... does n e one know what it may be? n e help is good help

Seems like you answered your own question...Have you checked the sending unit? Hell, I knocked my plug off today just changing the plugs..

My oil pressure doesnt work either... i dont know what's up anyone know where it is under the hood..?? i replaced my tranny and now the oil pressure dont work at all.... i need help... i cant find any posts on it either on where it is located.... please help me also...

7th gear, try spraying some degreaser around the oil sending unit area (around spark plugs and oil filter) and rinsing it off after a few minutes.

I'm betting that the contact is dirty if it is making contact.

well im putting an aftermarket one in so that should do the trick right ? autometer PHANTOM series... well maybe ur right and my gauge doesnt work ... well i guess ill keep fiddling witht the connections ..
