the reason it only comes on when turning one direction is because the sensor is only on one side. Oil is a liquid so it sloshes.
I road race my vert and i have only had it come on one time when i was pulling a 1.15 G turn and the oil sloshed so bad that the oil light came on once and buzzed at me. That is an extreme situation though that i bet a lot of you havent experienced, my oil was even full! haha

Remember trouble shoot before you post. Somethings can be solved as simple as checking some fluids.

I've had mine go off when it was full during an autocross on this one right hand section of the course every time I went through it. Sloshed to the left just enough to make it go off.
Since I re-read his next post and saw that he changed it to right hand turns... I standby my original answer.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Normally a correctly working oil level sensor, the add oil light comes on at 2 quarts low from full on the FC.
But regardless of that... if you are lame enough not to check the oil at each fill up, then you probably shouldn't be owning a rotary powered car.

You know the rotary consumes oil slowly by design right? It needs to be checked regularly. You should also check for oil leaks, as you've lost more oil that I'd expect in a month.
