Oil in Intake??

I've found it in the pipe from the filter to turbo and now found it in TB and upper intake manifold. What is going on i know it has to do with the turbo

If there is oil before the turbo, it's not necessarily the turbo's fault. If you have the factory service manual (mine is a 1990 anyway) on page F2-56 there is a diagram of the emissions control system. There is a line which runs from the oil filler neck to a check valve before the turbo, and under WOT conditions the engine will be sucking in the vapors from this (the "crankcase" ventilation, if there is such a thing on a rotary)

You would try cleaning it all out and then disconnecting this line and plugging it (take THAT, environment!) and see if you still get oil. If you do, then it's time to be inspecting the turbo.... oh yeah, if you have the factory blow-off valve (bypass valve) since it vents back into the intake, that would be another explanation for the oil if you have a leaky turbo. Let's hope the turbo is ok tho! Is it a lot of oil?

A thin layer of oil is okay to have.. if your turbo seals were going you would end up seeing more then a thin layer.. you would end up seeing it smoke out your exhaust as well (During hard shifts etc) .. another source of oil found in your manifold and TB is a faulty purge valve .. if your purge valve is not doing it's job you'll get oil sucked back in thru the TB..

I was wondering if this oil would cause smoke inside the engine bay. I have the same thing happening on my turbo II and cannot find a leak anywhere. Any thoughts
