Oil Filter Tower O-ring Size

ok, does anyone know the specific size of the Oil Filter Tower Oring Sizes? Im looking for the specific size and type.

Incase your confused, Im talking about the two small ones under the oil filter stand and above the oil pressure sender.

I need to replace them, but I really dont feel like spending $8.22++shipping from Mazdatrix...

I don't - I think I went to Autozone and bought an assortment for $10 when it came up for me.

You might be able to find it in the Mazda parts PDF - I've used it to source bolts before, because the description usually tells size, length, and pitch so I can go to my local hardware store.

+1 on the assortment. I have a little handy box that's saved my *** on many occasions

But if you go to Mazda for it, get the part number before hand and you will actually have luck finding it.

I can't believe they are that much from Mazda. I changed mine about 3 years ago and think I paid @ 4.00 for the pair. Try another dealer?

No, they're that much from MazdaTRIX. They're an aftermarket company that has good deals on some things, and deals assrapings on others.

But they've also got the hook ups for OEM (left) door handles couldn't get them through Dealers in Canada - zero stockola

It's a conspiracy, I tell ya! They also have upgraded motor mounts cheaper than you can get OEM mounts from the parts houses. But then they'll have something like, one 14" phone dial wheel for $583.40

the F'ed up thing is that i called capitol lincon mazda for them, didnt have them stocked but $3 each on tuesday, or i could go to SouthernStates Mazda and get them right then for $7.50 each

some stealerships...

Ive tried that before and ended up getting Orings too big and breaking stuff... but I guess it wouldnt hurt to get it... I can never find the kit at advanced auto though...

I always go to cary town mazda right across from the crossroads 20 theatre. They usually have a pretty good deal on parts. Last time I checked flash to pass lenese were $23.00
