Oil Drain Question!!

I just got this put together last night and I'm having a hell of a time trying to keep the drain a constant slope. Do you guys think this will pool???

That hose looks like it has a fairly nasty twist. Did you use swivel ends?

Regardless, in my experience, you'll be fine.

No, I could'nt find anywhere that had any in stock. In my opinion, I need to make the line longer and rotate the compressor housing clockwise. He cut the line when I was working on something else and said it would be perfect. Unfortunely the turbo was'nt in place and this happened when I put the turbo on. I had an aweful time bolting it on and the line twisted in the process. Do you guys think I should rotate it and put the fittings on a longer piece of line? Thanks.

Come to think of it. The straight hose end going into the engine is a swivel fitting. I guess the twisting just happened due to me compressing the line trying to bolt the turbo in place.

Thats no good. The point where the oil comes out of the turbo is lower than the return. Remember that its a gravity drain. If you could just find somewhere lower to put the return, or clock the center cartridge a little, youd be in good shape.

Considering what I have to work with this is the best I could do. It does'nt incline anymore it actually does decline but not a very noticeable amount. I'm hoping this will do for the next few months until I have the $$$ to upgrade everything. What do you guys think??

I tried to rotate the cartridge but it just made the fitting point down even lower. Those damn -12 AN fittings are huge!! I have a 120 degree piece I had to pass up using because it is like 6"s long.

As long as you dont start to see oil puddling up on the bottom of the center cartridge or blowin out the exhaust maybe it will work. You cant get someone to weld a fitting on the pan?

I'll think about that. I could buy a weld on fitting and do it myself. Anyways, I'm not worried about it. It's one of those SS Autocrap turbos. Thanks!
