odd swap question

Well I was looking at my n/a sitting in the driveway yesterday.. and thought to myself.. should I swap something into it for the hell of it? cause right now I'm building up my t2 and I definantly wanna keep the 13b but I was remembering how much I loved my ol' gc8 rs-t... so I started thinking about the ol boxer motor... does anyone know if someone has put a boxer motor into an rx7 anything from the jspec sti ej20 up to the svx ej33?
cause I was thinking about building up a ej22t and throwing it in the 7.. I would think it would be great in a rx7... all the weight is in the bottom of the motor and it's small physicaly and doesn't weigh much and it's capable of 500 hp on the stock block.. or should I just get a damn 20b..lol doubt ill do either.. just a thought... and keep open minded, I know it's like ripping the heart out of what makes a 7 a 7 but I love that motor and the 7's chassis.

I havent seen anyone do it, if you were to attempt it you're going to have to fab your own motor and tranny mounts, then you have wiring from hell, all that and its still cheaper to make that kinda power w/ a LS1.

Haven't seen a pancake in one. Someone has put a Toyota 7MGTE in a FC. (What a mistake) They should've put in a 1J motor to since the 7m's like to blow headgaskets.

I know it would be easier to put a ls1 and a **** load cheaper... but I love the flat four. I was just wondering if anyone has done it.. obviousely custom motor and tranny mounts.. or a custom bell housing of some sort.... cause theres no way I'd use a subaru tranny... 2nd gear likes to blow up trust me I've destroyed 2 in my old gc8 I turboed and the rear driveshaft is only rated for like 150~200hp
I just think it would be a cool swap... wireing wouldn't be too bad just take some time... just grab a standalone and a 2.5rs body harness and have at it.
