i found a 88 rx7 and was wondering what are the most problem area for rust on these beautys
looks really clean and i got under it and checked it
any help will be greatly aprreciated

 

sun roof.
spare tire area
around the rear hatch
other then that i really havent seen rust on an fc often.

 

and under the side windows. the trim likes to rust away.

thanks for much, i noticed the rust on the sun roof cover, but i will look harder befor i pic it up

the cars gonna be stripped down to nothin anyways body work and paint, then the 350 conversion
strickly drag car

 

i live in michigan so its rust central, the worst place is usialy going to be on the seems of were the rocker panel and the underbody meet. they usualy get bent, then rust, then eventualy rust large holes in the underbody next to the seem.

i'd be surprised if they WEREN'T rusted.
