Way too much fuel pressure. The stk fuel pressure at idle is approx 28-32psi.

The 89psi you read would be close to what a fuel pump puts out if the hose going from the pump dead ended into a fuel pressure gauge and no other outlet.

Something is wrong but I"m not able to tell you just what other than.........fuel pressure at idle should be approx 28-32psi.

Okay... So, I have adjusted my FPR. I also tried what you said, satch. I checked that there was 12v with key to ON... and "jumpered" the B/W and brown wires. No different effect. But something new I am noticing on my PFC when I check the boost, is that when I rev the engine a bit before it dies, I'm getting quite some vacuum. Why am I getting so much vacuum?

I think you might have misstyped because I asked you to jumper the Black wire to the Brown wire. With respect to the B/W wire all I suggested was to check for voltage w/key to on only, but nothing about using that specific wire to be involved in jumpering.

Ah.... Okay. Oops... I didn't jumper the right wires then. ugh - I shall redo this the correct way.

Do you have any idea about the vacuum though??

Dude... satch. It totally worked. What does that jumper wire exactly do?? Was it alright that I let the car idle for a while with those wires jumpered??

You did what??????????? Just joking

The Black wire serves as a constant ground while the Brown wire serves as a ground "only" when the car is running at over 500 RPM but that is governed by the AFM which you have stipulated that you don't have. So, what you did essentially was to provide a ground to the circuit opening relay while the car was running which allowed the fuel pump to continue to work. W/o a ground on the Brown wire the fuel pump would fail to pump while the car is running. When starting the car, the Black wire is used as the necessary ground. Since I am not familiar with the PFC I don't know how it's wired into your wiring harness with regards to the Brown wire so I'll leave that to someone else to figure out and assist you.

Yeah, I did notice that the fuel pump was running constantly. Is that alright?

Ugh... damn. I'm just wondering if this will be alright for me to drive it with these wires jumpered. Regardless, thanks a lot man.

This jumpering would cause the pump to run when the key is to on which "should" be okay as long as the car is running but if it is not then you don't want to leave the key to the on position for it would lead to perhaps an engine flooding scenario. If you were to do a diagnostic test on the car that requires the key to on then you would want to disconnect the jumper. You need to figure out how the Brown wire and your PFC are supposed to be wired up properly. In addition, most of all the electrical knowledge I have comes from Hailers' musings so he deserves a thanks as well.

Oh, of course I am very appreciative of both of you. Thank you satch. Thank you HAILERS. Without your guys' help I never would have gotten my situation figured out. Now I am happy... I am truly thankful for the help.
