No Shift

1988 FC Cabriolet. 98,000 M.
Shifts into 1st & 2nd, but not into 3rd, 4th, 5th or reverse. Shifter has been sloppy. Stopped, drove forward and only had 1st and 2nd.

Might be a broken spring/wave washer in your shift lever causing the jam. Sloppy shift lever means that your bushings need to be replaced.
