no boost

no boost

alright heres the deal i just put the motor back in the car and now it wont boost past 2psi its an s4 motor with s4 turbo and greddy front mount and greddy rs bov... if that matters any... unfortunatly im not too familiar with turbos wasted my first few years of tuning on hondas ... if anyone has any suggesting on what to look and check for or any similar experiances and how they fixed it thanks in advance... car has no bottom end power and i mean none... thanks in advance i need all the help i can get

Check to see that the wastegate arm from the actuator is attached to the flapper on the turbine housing. Sounds like my car when I ran it with the wastegate open.

Does the engine have good compression? How does it run otherwise? Did the turbo have any in-and-out/up and down shaft play? See if you can move the compressor wheel enough to touch the housing.

Check for boost leaks also, it would have to be a big one to lower it that much though.

I really doubt that its timing. If it was that far off I think it would be hesitating all over the place like my car was when I set it at like 400rpm lol. If you really want to be sure you can remove the CAS, line up the marks and reinstall it. Set it with a timing light afterward to make it perfect.

minimal shaft play i will double check though and the arm is deff attached... it runs good as far as i can see but i cant actually drive it the car has no plates on it right now... it idles kinda choppy lower then like 1200 rpm... this is buggin me out cause it was fine when the motor was pulled

cause the previous owner beings the smart guy he is wanted to put a 2j in the car and I bought the motor and then he decided not to go throught with the project so i bought the shell and now i put them back together and this happens
