You want to keep your TII from boosting.. correct?

Why?

You can just wire open the wastegate.. That should keep boost down to 0-2psi at WOT.

i heard when you do a rebuild you cant boost for about 2000 miles is that right. I was thinking of trying to wire the wastegate open but that rod is hard to move. Should i just unbolt the wastegate actuator and let it hang

just stay out of the throttle and you'll be ok. a little boost isn't going to do any damage.

just go easy on here for 2,000 mi, go to www.rotaryresurrection.com and read his instructions for breaking in your rebuild, thats what i'm doing.

I thought the wastegate being "wired open", or being stuck open would result in either 5.5lbs or 7.5 lbs for S4 and S5's respectively.

Does "wiring open" the wastegate make it able to bypass a larger volum of exhaust?

I thought the size of the passage would still be the same, hence same exhaust flow. I think doing what your saying would result in a slower build of boost, like a slower come on but on a stock S4 wastegate whetner the flapper door is open or shut, the wastegate exit passage is still 13mm until ported....

Please explain.

Wastegate is like a BOV?

So it lets all the boost out if needed?

If i'm right then theres your answer
