How much HP does a stock TII FC have, and roughly how much money would it take to make 350 HP?

For the love of god, search!

All these are standard questions, asked at least 17.84 times per week for the last 4 years of this forum's existance! You can see how frustrating it would be to answer the SAME questions OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER...And it really shows the lazyness of the poster, as well as their massive ignorance to even the simplest facets of netiquette.

S4 has 182 hp and 183 lb-ft torque. The S5 has ~202hp and ~198 lb-ft torque. As for how much money it takes to make 350 hp, there really isn't a number. It depends if you want some reliability with that or not. I can make my TII have 350 hp for fairly cheap, but it would only last a few 1/4 passes. The skys the limit. There are plenty of threads about making that much power. Sorry about Aarons hostility but I do understand where he's coming from. This does get asked a lot. Not offense Aaron, it does get annoying.

For the love of god, if you're not going to answer the question, DON'T POST!!!

You people that just bitch about the search function are just as annoying as those of us who don't use it.

There are some nice people on here who would answer my question, why don't you leave it to them?

Uhmm... thats why! ^^

we have to wade through your **** just to try and help ppl who actually need help....

...if this was a REASONABLE QUESTION then it would be something different, the gurus would come (not me, obviously, I'm no guru yet... (more on that later)) and the gurus would answer the question to the delight of your little newbie mind!

and can you guess how the gurus became gurus? (other than spending WAAAAY too much time tinkering with their.. uhmm.. toys... (i mean their cars, get your mind outta the gutter)) ... they READ... (and I would imagine they probably use the search button occasionally too...)

so... uhmm... it's not like there is a SHORTAGE of RX-7 info out there... use YOUR brain!

the sad thing is that information isn't hard to get by any strech of the imagination. hell, you can even go to carpoint.msn.com and find RX-7 hp ratings there with a little initiative.

and if you are completely against MS then go to google and do a search you will have your answer in no time.

and maybe we shouldn't be wasting our time answering these "newbie" questions in the first place. We're so absorbed in getting instant gratification that we loose the basic skill of searching and finding something on our own. be it, on the internet or even on this forum.

But that is what our society is based around, instant gratification... (instant millions, miracle diets, etc) ...and to actually work for oneself is something that seems to have died out a long time ago

(please note: I am not referring to anyone in particular by this comment, just making a general statement about society as I see it...)

i agree with you on that, i'm just kind of standing on my soap box wishing society would change back to where a little hard work wasn't such an outlandish idea.

(Of course, as i say that i think of how lazy i am personally, and find that fact ironic considering the conversation )

lol... i know what you mean.. but I still put the work in when its required.. and sometimes when its not... (like working on cars, DO IT YOURSELF ppl... come on, its not that hard (exception being ppl who REALLY don't have the time...))

Anyway, I'm gonna go get me some pizza (lol... and no, I'm not making it myself... but thats ok 'cause I'm now broke and on a meal plan...)

I beg to differ. It's very annoying, you'll realize this in another couple hundred posts.

Lol, but he's seasoned enough to claim that the search ***** are just as annoying as the non-searching newbies?

It's all right here...
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=59758

Look: I have sympathy for guys who get yelled at because they didn't search. The probably missed the sticky, or this is this is their first time posting on ANY sort of online forum, or who knows what. There's an infinite number of reasons excuses. Unfortunately, beyond making it more difficult for them to post without reading pro-search related propaganda, there's little that can be done. So patience is in order. I wouldn't worry about bitching them out. Some OTHER newbie is just dying to up his post count by telling this one to search instead of posting.

Steve

P.S. Lol, if "I" were a Guru, I wouldn't even bother reading newbie posts, lol, but that's just me. The best way to combat this is to just not answer their post. Sure they can ask again and again, but if no one answers, they'll be forced to search(oh the irony!) Mods can remove/ban repetitive abusers. Ah well, it wouldn't work any better than the current system I suppose. But at least it'd keep the average blood pressure a few points lower.

Well, technically, he did. He said "For the love of god, SEARCH!" first.

Lol, so far, almost all the tense search ***** and newbies in this thread have been Canadian! Coincidence? I think NOT! They don't serve DeCaff over there or something?

Steve ( j/k )
