new turbo install....what a bitch!!

I've replaced my FD turbo and helped a friend with his and thought that was kinda hard due to the limited space. After getting a new turbo for the 89 TII, I figured it would be easier than the FD. What a pain in the ***. It seemed like every hose/wire/you name was in the way of what you were actually trying to work on. The main harness was in the way all day. It may have been easier in reality, but damn it seemed like it was more frustrating than the FD. All I have left is the DP and that's it. Hopefully a new turbo will feel alittle better than the 165K one I took off.

Yeah man, the first time sucks. I've done it once, and I bet the second time I will be able to do it in less than half the time.

I could have used you then....I don't plan on doing it again if I don't have to.

Need to get rid of ABS. Super easy to reach the turbo after that.

Heh, tell me when you've got it down to 45mins off/on. I have done it 3 times in a day.

This was 4 years ago, and I probably couldn't do it now, as I am out of practice.
