power door question take a look

power door question take a look

ok heres the deal i have a 89gtus but my door are pretty banged up so at the local junk yard they have a set of 87 rx door with power windows so what all will i have to do to get the power doors to work in my car ???? any has any on did this before

The 87 door is rather different internally from the 88+ so if you have door speakers they will mount in a different location.

You may have to run the internal wires for the power windows. Some models you do, some you don't. You won't know until you get in there and see if the factory wires are there in the drivers kick panel.

And what didn't you like about that answer... the fact that the door metal is different or that you may or may not have to run the wires inside the car for the windows???

the door will have different outside molding then yours... the 89+ is different.

plus a GTUs should keep the manual windows and locks...
