*sobs a little* it will be a bit before the interior is done. School and work taking over as of this week. Hoping to have enough for the carpeting by end of next month though.
As for the seats they were finished today. Added padding in the base of the seat, upper back, and headrest. Also I added a little padding to the lumbar support because it was a little vicious.

I don't really know mow much after-market seats go for. I looked at Mazda Parts (searches seat) and Speed Machine performance for seats. Going by those prices (excluding the 200$-ish one that looks like you would rather be raped by a fat guy than sit in), yes. Not sure about other upholsterers, but once the template is made its easy. I only paid for the fabric (approx. 80$), but with labor it was probably in the 400-500$ range. Next time I am at the shop I will look up what it actually should have cost. Thing that is nice about it, though , is that its the actual seats that are saposed to be there with extra padding and nicer fabric lol.
Come next summer, I may be selling custom seat covers. All depends on how demanding my job becomes. Also thinking about doing heated seats (going to get rid of the lumbar support though)
