This is covered in the FAQ. About 16-18 MPG city, 22-25 MPG highway.

The FAQ sticky at the top of this forum answers 99% of common questions, including this one.

i have traveled almost 350 miles on a single tank, of course these were all highway miles and traveling at no more than 75 mph. i did, on one leg of my move to oregon, get 30.1 mpg!!! did not believe it either so i had a friend of mine that was tracking my progress check and recheck his numbers. they came out the same every time. these are not numbers to base buying a car on but hey you asked. like aaron said 16-18 city and 22-25 highway sounds right.

ok well i'm just trying to figure out how inaccurate my gauge is lol, from full to emty with no light on so far i'm at just over 400km from both city and highway, i get the feeling that either the gauge is way wrong or i'm getting bad mileage

It all depends on how you drive. I can get 600km with one tank. I also got 270km once.

Its all dependant on how you drive and which you have. My 87 NA GXL Auto, drove from south of Boston, MA to almost Lake Champlain, VT. Though on the way home I was driving it hard and only made it half that.

It's in the FAQ, just like what Aaron posted. If anyone gets less than that, their car is broken (which is a lot of people around here, it seems). Driving style only makes you lose 0-3 mpg.

290 and almost empty on city driving (never doing it again) but on avg. 270 when I take it easy and around 230 when I'm mashing but not redlining every gear.

My calculations tell me i'm doing 18mpg city only on avg. but I've recently noticed a decrease so I might need to look at the o2 sensor and plugs to see if they need replacement.

Take a Civic's fuel economy and divide it in half.

Ha ha I think I got everyone beat. My NA 91 vert just got 410 miles on one tank of gas. That's with A/C too. 320 of which was all highway with the rest being mix city/freeway. I'm confident that if I had driven all highway, I could have gotten around 440. All this on stock ecu and old beat up factory exhaust. Oh yea I did some small mods internally when I rebuilt the engine a yr and a half ago. Looks like my little experiments are working.

If I behave and run 89 on my pretty modded T2 I get 24mpg on the highway. Normally I get about 12 city :-/
