Since the Spal PWM now specifically excludes use on Taurus fans and Mark VIII fans BY NAME, these guys have caught my attention.
They talk a good game.

you sure he is still in business? my friend recommended it to me a few years ago and when i went to buy it he never responded back to me and there were rumors of him being out of business.
on another note, my friend has one in his turbo mustang and it does work very well with no issues on his lincoln fan.

He has a reputation for slow shipping and a reputation for not answering emails asking why it is taking so long to ship.
He also has a rep for a fantastic product and great tech support once you get the unit.
I am getting one, probably the 50 amp. I can't imagine why you would need the 85 amp.

The only thin I didn't like about that fan control is the only temp probe available is an external fan probe. You can't use an internal sensor, and that freaks me out a bit.

It sits on the shelf gathering dust. After 1.5 years of trying to make it work properly, I finally gave up and reinstalled the fan relay. I had wasted so much time on the stupid FAN-PWM and it got to the point where I was driving around staring at the temperature gauge. The thing is isn't designed correctly.
