New project for $1000! 88 Rx-7 Turbo II, running!
Picked up a 88 Rx-7 Turbo II from my buddy a few days ago. 169k on chassis but has around 20k on rebuilt engine with 105-100 psi compression. Rtek 1.7 with 720cc secondary Injectors. Racing Beat Springs/Kyb AGX Struts. Racing Beat Front/Rear Sways and endlinks. Runs like champ. Needs some paint, TLC, and smog, but for $1000 I can't complain too much. Definitely going to paint then get it to pass smog, then go from there. Just thought I'd share this come up with you guys.

Nice! I am happy to see some of the more rare beasts come out of hiding. Here is my Series 5 Turbo II I bought for $50 running the night I got it home.
Edit: I want your stock wheels.
Congrats on your pick up.

The guy let it sit for years and then moved and didn't have a place to park it and was going to have it scrapped. Needs paint but not really anything else.
Sorry I had a few drinks that night. Wasn't my intention to hijack the thread.
