New "custom built" exhaust!!

Well It took over 4 hours but it is done and on a SUPER LIGHT budget!

Custom Built 2 1/2 inch N/A downpipe into single hollowed out Cat, Custom y Pipe with 2 1/2 inch N1 style Stainless mufflers with 4.5inch tips.

This setup Blows flames great inbetween 1st gear and 2nd and deceleration in 4th..

I have silencers as it is loud but only plan to use them on long trips.. It seems to flow well and I am pleased, TOTAL INVESTMENT $220 including parts and labor. I will also be able to use most of the system for the 6 port turbo in the Winter.

Pays to shop around and listen to local customer reviews. This shop that did the work was great, they even opened on Saturday by appointment to get it done. I am going to let him do my intercooler bends too...

hmmm... i wonder why my car wont blow flames.... i know it sounds ricey, but it just seems odd, rb header straight back to 2 empty barrel mufflers (n/a) never once blew a flame, rich or lean... odd.
nice set-up btw

You can actually have a shop make you headers?

It's not headers, stock collector (manifold) with the downpipe upsized and lack of the other 2 stock cats. The remaining cat is a catco that has been gutted.. Thanks for the kind comments, I would love to have gone RB but this was much more cost effective with probably similar effects on driveablity.

I would have run a header but the car has a turbo setup waiting to be installed this winter and I didn't need to "waste" money on the header.. I have a RB downpipe waiting instead for the swap.
