need some input from you !

ok i have a 87 non turbo automatic. its has a new engine in it and has about 1500 to 2000 miles on the engine and 87000 miles on the body. ever sence i had the vehicle i notice that early in the morning or when she has been sitting a while the ADD COOLANT light comes on and stays on till thte engine is warm. But my coolant is full. i called the person i bought the vehicle off wich was a mazda mechanic and he said i have to top of the filler cap cause the sonsor is really sensative. so i did that but a few days later it happens again. filler cat hose will not stay full and every few days i have to top it off for that loud buzzer not to go off. yesterdays i took about 15 min and waited till the water i put in went down and kept filling it up till it was completely toped off . i drove it around for about two hours and parked it. then i noticed it left a buddle of water/antifreeze on the driver side floor. buddle was about the size of the trim and tire. andy input would be great on how to fix this or what could be wrong. the only thing i can think of is that perhaps a hose has a hole. im new to the rx7 and have no idea on anything. thanks for the help
andy

Are you sure there isnt air trapped in your system? Your rad cap is new?

The sensor is usually faulty, but you should make sure there is no air and your system is up to par.

well how do i know if there is air in the system? and how would that cause a leak? like i said im new to the rx7. im not sure if the radiator cap is new. also on the radiator cap there is a little hose attached to it and a bit of antifreeze is coming out . maybe that will help give some of you a better idea. let me know thanks.
