Need Safc2 w/ Fcon

Hey guys when I bought my car it already had an fcon on it. It's hidden somewhere under the glovebox i guess. Can I adjust it? Also do I need an safc2 if I already have the fcon? I want to have my car well tuned and someone told me I just need to take it to someone with a wideband and dyno then tune it and I don't need the safc2 since I have the fcon. Any clue? Im confused..

you can adjust the fcon from 0 to 9..has a dial in it....very easy..0 is stock and 9 is all the fuel the fcon can give you..just make sure you have a better fuel pump or your car will stutter on a higher setting since the pump can't keep up(alsm make sure the fcon ha sa working boost sensor-it needs to see the boost to inject more fuel)...you can run the safc with the fcon but one will do...try the fcon since you have it....it it does not work for you then go with the safc and sell the fcon..the safc is more flexable when it comes to rpm tuning..

I have an upgraded fuel pump...if I set it at 9 you think my car would get too much fuel?
Safc2 is better than fcon though? To get the most power out of my car.

with an SAFC2 you can fine tune it alot better than the dipswitches on the Fcon will allow. i'm planning on running an Rtek1.7 ECU upgrade and use my SAFC2 to fine tune it.

problem with running 720 secondaries, the ECU will not be compensating properly for the larger injectors, you can tune the ECU to run larger injectors with an SAFC but an ECU upgrade is pretty much a necessity as both the stock ECU and Fcon were meant to use the stock 550cc injectors.
