Need FCD with an FCON?

I have an hks fcon that came with my T2, I don't know now because my car is in for a rebuild (blew a coolant seal) but the car came with an HKS Fcon, does the car need a fuel cut defensor to prevent fuel cut or does the fcon do this? Thanks.

You can add any type of FCD, it doesn't have to be the HKS.

They all have slight differences but they do the same thing. They all lie to the ECU. You can make your own, or go with a Racing Beat one, there are plent out on the market.
