Put on a 3inch downpipe w/ 3 inch piping and an intake. Then i'd reccomend updating the fuel pump and injectors so you can run the boost a little higher.

get a chip from www.pocketlogger.com then get some 720cc injectors then get a boost controller, then get a new fuel pump and then turn the boost up to 10-12psi done.

get a rtek 2.0

my question is since i will have the rtek and the injectors/pump to support the boost would i still have to port my WG?

^^^ agreed! it's realy no big deal, the hardest part is just taking out the turbo witch can sometimes be a pain however I've done it so much that I can get it out and in within like 1.5hrs. Anyways reason your going to have to port the wg is because without that you will never get reliable boost numbers. your boost numbers would be all over the place and just be a pain to tune as well as it may spike to stupid numbers like 20psi etc... and that is bad for the turbo and the engine.
