UH i think the BAC is neccesry to adjust the idle under different loads. Did you block off the stuff you took off? YOu could have a major vac leak if you did not. Put the BAC back on and see if it will idle.

ok so i reconnected all the hoses but left the sensor off and it's running fine now so i'm guessing it was just a leak. what do you recommend plugging it with and should i reconnect the sensor or just leave it off?

did you use a block off plate to cover up the little valve thing that goes on the UIM? make sure you made a gasket for that too or use some RVT and let it setup for an hour before using the car.

well if the BAC has to stay on then it should be pluged in. Makes no sense to me leaving it on but unplugged.

i actaully just blocked that off using like a round piece of rubber that fit perfectly, i figured that would be just fine until i could block it off for good. but i guess i was wrong. and by the way with the mods you have what is you 1/4 mile time?

I actually have never gone to the strip to check my 1.4 mile time. I would think maybe a low 15 if I am lucky and good at shifting. But the problem is my synchros are going so I grind into secind and third when I push hard. You should make yourself a block off plate.
That is what I did for my OMP and I am also removing the cold start crap and hopefully the EGR and rats nest will go soon I can't wait to have my rngine bay that empty it will look even cleaner without the PS pump.

You must remember that i still have the original engine and it is proly not as peppy as it should be. Not to mention I only have simple mods unlike some of the guys on the forum. I hopefully will get the nerve up to do some intake porting during the summer.
