Question need help in decision making

I want to know if it would make more sense to just save up the money to buy a t2 than just buying a na model now and then swapping in the 13bt. Which would be the better decision overall from the financial aspect of it all. Thanks for any help offered.

If you know you're going to end up with a turbo, you might as well start out with one.

Save up the money for a T2 AND a little bit of a buffer on top...Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Yeah, no way it would be cheaper to start with an NA and swap in the turbo stuff, unless of course you have a source of free turbo parts and plan to do all the work yourself. The only advantage I could see with starting with an NA if your end goal is turbo is that you might find a nice one sooner. There were fewer TIIs and they are in higher demand today so finding a nice one may require some time, dedication and patience.

Yeah during the time it takes to find a good T2, save up the extra money.

Ditto. You will spend way more money and have much more protential for problems if you swap in the turbom engine later.
