Give us some more info on the car. Milage, condition, any problems? If you have some pictures that would help also. They are great cars and my first 7 was a gxl. If you decided on getting it, good luck.

thats pretty pimp if all else fails you have a limited slip. Unless someone pulled it out. Crawl up under it and check for a little information plate on the rear-end to see if it says its a limited slip. other than that check to see if it runs body condition etc..

sounds like a good deal, i dont know about how much money you are willing to spend, and how well the motorwas taken care of, but if you do buy it, oil change, change plugs, etc and then check fuild levels every coulpe of days and change the oil every 3k your car will run great, dont worry about the mileage we all drive them with huge numbers, and between hear ebay, and advance auto you should be set for parts, i had my 88 for 7 years and 200k untill it was killed in a hit and run

Are you prepared to dump another $1,000 to get the car into top running shape?
This is assuming none of the major (i.e. engine, transmission, rear diff, etc.) parts are bad...

offer 1500, if he doesn't take it, offer up. make sure when you offer the 1500 you look him straight in the eye and have the most amount of seriousness you can muster. also keep nodding your head, subliminally he'll think its a good idea because your nodding your head. I'm in retail, trust me, it works.
