Need Advice

I just found a 10th AE on the net. The guy is asking 1600 for it, the car dosent run, dosent have radio, a tear on the passangers seat. From what he is saying that's the condition of the cars interior. Exterior from the pic I saw is has a noticable ding on 1 of the fenders and just a few dings. He also said that all the emmissions for the car are in it, since I live in Colorado I need them. Thanks in advance for the comments. BTW the car has 130,000 miles on it. So what do you guys think? Thanks in advance for the comments. BTW the car has 130,000 miles on it.

IMO unless the car was in excellant shape besides the engine I would go for it but since there are other things wrong with it I would pass it up.

Frankly speaking, he's asking 1300 dollars too much. I'm serious, not joking. Don't be foolish and give him one cent more than three hundred bucks. A turbo might be worth 600 to 700. Not a n/a.

LOL!! HAILERS! Missed that one didnt ya!

The 10th AE is a really cool car, but $1600 might be a little on the high side, but then again, if its in really (and I mean REALLY) good shape but the motor is blown, it may be worth it.

I wouldnt go higher then $1k.

I don't know how common TIIs are where you guys are at, but around here you find one for sale about once a year possibly if you really look around a few counties. Its a AE in decent shape for less than $2000 and you don't even know if its just flooded or something else that makes it so "the car doesn't run." Don't discourage the guy.

I say offer him what you personally feel the car is worth and what you can afford and still get it back on the road. $1000 would be fair to me if it needs a rebuild depending on the condition.

Got an e-mail from the seller, he said 1600 obo. I live in Colorado and it's kind of hard to get an FC around here. To me being an AE or not is not an issue. I just don't seem to find a Turbo II at an ok price. I will try te get some pic from the seller so I can see what else can be seen from them and post them here to see what you guyes think. I appritiate everyones imput on this.

Yeah, get some pics. As it stands, I would say it's worth $500-800.
