Im not sure on the specs on the auqa thingy, but if its running water through what looks like the pump it might not be such a good idea to have it sittin in the same bin or w/e as ur amp. I realize that its a remote thing to happen but still can.

You'd think that you would have given the FD Alternator the same spit and shine as you did to the rest of the accessories.

Not to worry, I will once I put it on the car. The alt didn't actually show up until the day before I was driving to LA which was a bit late for polishing...so it's still in my living room. But it'll be going on nonetheless and nice and shinny at that.

I remember you did mention that you wanted It rushed. In turn, I did just that. I'm sorry to hear a special arrangement has to be made to polish up the FD Alternator. Besure to let me know how It turns out or post a pic.

Hey no worries I didn't mean that to sound like a complaint. No special arrangement... I did all the polishing on the other parts... I just have to get time to do the Alt.

Yeah, I considered that... this wasn't my origional desire for a mounting configuration, but some things didn't quite fit like I wanted them too.... I may end up changing it... I do agree with you though.

What kind of intake manifold is that? And also, where did you purchase that VINTAGE AIR fan?
I'm planning to go to SIR next Friday (24th) but the car isn't fully tunned and I'm only running .7 bar, so I'm not expecting fantastic things... just some fun. until tunning on Nov 22.

The intake manifold is a 89 J-spec, with all the extra crap ground off or removed... Looks much better IMO.

Vintageair.com It's on page 79 (I think) of the catalog.

Hey, I'm visiting Tucson the 24th, 25th, and the 26th...

If I hit up the track, I'll be sure to say hi.

Thanks. I'm headed to the dyno tomorrow to get some numbers. I'll be tunning mostly for 91 octance but I am taking some 101 for some higher boost tunning.

I hope to tune 1.3bar with the water injection on 91... but we'll see how that goes. I'll be posting Sunday with the results.

Also, looks like it'll be after the first of the year before I get the rest of my body pannels and can finish the exterior...

Very nice, I;m jealous

However! I think those front brakes need to be bigger. They dont fill up the "background" of the wheel enough IMO.

I totally agree. I'd like to get the Endless brakes to match my suspension... but those are $$$'s: I'll get something though, after I finish the body.

I was at the Steven Kan tuning tonight and carx7 had his car tuned, on pump and half pump/half race gas.
The results are.......breathtaking.
I'll let him post the dynosheet

It's still around... unfortunately not much work has been done to it.

I suppose the re-cap would go like this:

I am still waiting for the body kit, and have changed my mind MANY times, which is the reason I still don't have one. The origional intenetion was to do complete authentic Amemiya kit, and then I also considered pretty much all the other big companies and then some small ones. I am currently awaiting pricing on my final two selections and hope to make a purchase any day now... haha, I've been saying that forever now! mostly likely it will start with a kit and have a few mods to make it one of a kind.

I finally had it tunned by Steve Kan in the Nov time frame and made 422RWHP at 16psi, 91octane and 469RWHp at 19psi with a 91/101 mix.

The car has seen a few drift days recently and seems to do very well... at least the crowd likes it...

Last I finally made the debut 1/4 mile run on my Toyo T1-S 255/40/17 street tires. After a blown IC hose my first full pass netted me a 12.407@121.27 MPH That was a terrible 2.096 60ft and quite a bit of wheel hop... i have more traction on the street that that track did.

Anyway, that's about it. Work on my own hood will start soon, interior details are finally beginning to be finished and with all that I still need to turn on the water injection. My ignition and fuel are tapped out and those will be upgraded eventually along with a few other mechanical "tweaks". I expect to hit 500RWHP oh 91 octane before all is said and done...

Look for it at SS7 this year.

You should get the gp front kit... It keeps the stock headlights and just keeps the same stock look of the car, and damn is it ever sexy...

I must say that your kit is very nice looking. I think you are a bit optimistic on the cost... but more power too you... I'd love to see you pull it off. Very nice design!

I have been and will continue to follow your threads on that kit
