Nearing completion (*lots* of pics)
I still have a somethings to get done, but I wanted to post some progress pics. I rushed the car a bit to get it driveable to SS6 and now I will have to finish the few detail things and get the body work done. But for now:
A few pics of the interior... it's dirty and I need to finished mounting the gauges and tidy things up, but you can get the idea. I really like how well the red stiching on the e-brake, shifter boot and consol match the red in the Bride seats. Great job by Ralf Wilms and his wife for that!
The engine bay:
you can see the accumulators for the aquamist mounted on the IC piping on the drivers side (cylinders before and after strut bar)
Different view so you can see turbo, and 4" exhaust.
A shot of my fan and shroud before the bay was complete.
And another shot while we were fixing a problem on the way back from SS6. You can see the mirror shine on the shroud, and this gives you a good view of the Innocent Blue Mica color used for accent:

A few pics of my manifold with dual Tial 38mm gates:
A pic of my aquamist pump install with stereo amp behind drivers seat... yes it needs to be cleaned desparately but you get the idea:
Front wheel shot, you can see the Zeal coilover back in there:
Rear wheel shot:
and for those who forgot my undercarriage re-do:
Couple of exterior shots:
The body is primed and awaiting the remainder of the Amemiya kit. I have mirrors and the spoiler, I'm waiting on the FC2k cowl, sideskirts and an R-Magic rear bumper skirt. I am also getting the custom mazdaspeed/FC CF hood that is being made... so the body isn't quite there yet.
First, a shot of my second breakdown for the SS6 event on the return trip. Turned out to be a cold solder joint on my new fan, and the customer service for warantee replacement has been unparalled in my expereince. I like this pics b/c it shows how well the car sits with the wheel and suspension. FWIW, the ride with the Brides and Zeals, was very comfortable... which I was a bit worried about for the drive to LA
Second a shot of of the car at SS6:
More pics when the car is cleaned up, misc pieces finished and the body kit installed.
For those who may ask, I have not yet tunned the car so I don't know what power I"m making...
What do you think??

Unfortunately I had to make the decision a few years ago btween audio and performance since they don't really compliment each other. Guess which one won?

i run a Balanced line off a 5506 to an old school rockford 250m2 and it's the cleanest thing i've ever heard.
With my FD i'm just gonna put in a rare factory chromed 360.6 and be done with it. I'll get that bose system to work for me.
But then again this doesn't look like your daily driver LOL
that's a sick potato too.

The efan is from Vintage air... 3700 CFM and the shroud matches *perfectly* to the radiator dimensions. This is the biggest fan I've seen.
The A-arms are painted... however it was a with an automotive grade primer, paint and a heavy duty clear which should resist any abuse. My paint guy has been running it on his undercarriage very successfully. I couldn't get this color in pwoerder coat.
These decks are really nice. I just wish the exhaust wasn't quite so loud so I could hear the system better. It's sounds awesome when the car isn't running and I can actually hear the components I loved that old Fosgate stuff!
It was my daily untill I really got serious about building it up. I plan to drive it regularly once it's completed... though not in bad weather.

Yo,
Siiiiick. Why don't I remember seeing the car at Sevenstock?! I think I reached 7 Overload. *grin*
You're keeping the car white, yeah? Assuming that from the shiny white paint in the engine bay.
Awesome job, it's great to see a "No Holds Barred" FC...like Seth's CYM FC, 1FastT2's, and Blue TII's. It's all in the details and you guys got 'em covered.
Bravo!
