calm down
i've searched and haven't really found a thread involving someones transmission turning neutral into reverse and making 1st and 2nd engine killing gears and all other gears inaccessible.

but now i'm uploading the first video to both Youtube and Photobucket [don't know which will be better to do, but i don't really care lol] youtube just takes forever

here is the vid on youtube
-and-
here is my photobucket where i will post the rx7 stuff also

well i got the Exhaust and the Driveshaft off
the exhaust was a pain in the ***, such a tight space lol [but not as tight as the subaru]
and then i pulled the driveshaft. and i learned that the previous owner didn't put in all the bolts [only 3 were on the driveshaft!!] and the Heatguard was torn to hell and back

from the photos..
you can see the hole going thru my strut

my exhaust and driveshaft

Hole i found in the tranny, don't know if that should be covered or not, but i'm guessing that a source of the unknown liquid [mainly oil it seems] is coming from but i have no clue. and i found that my starter was never fully tightened back on, hence bad starting sometimes.

Heatguard, but only part of it.

Taking out the tranny now
yay.. /sarcasam

that hole in the transmission is to drain liquid out of the bell housing. If there is oil coming out of there then you have either a bad rear main seal on the engine or a bad front oil seal on the transmission.

well, on closer inspection of my exhaust, i just found out its Racing Beat... now i just need a better muffler =D
but that will happen a long time from now

but for today, i can't find a tall enough jack to lower the tranny, so i'm done for today.

throw in any suggestions for what i should do or take pictures/video of

i got a nice jack now, and progress will start soon =]

and if anyone reads this who's located in the midwest, i will probably need a new transmission, so if you have one lying around or know where to get one, do tell

Well i finally have the transmission out of my car. [Had no time whatsoever the past few days]
Anyone know who makes a clutch that has a Purple Surrounding? And i found out my oil pan leaks at the top, and has a bolt broken off it. Pics will be up tomorrow

as far as I know a company called Zoom makes clutch kits with purple pressure plates, not sure how good they are.
