My car makes me sin

So i was cruising back from the DFW meet today, and thought it would be fun to downshift and rev match with the turbo fully spooled into 2nd at 40mph and see what happens, aside from me going completely sidways and reaching like 70mph and almost losing control (ridiculously stupid on my part i know) I blew a coolant hose somehow. luckily it was close to home and i immediately pulled her into the garage and started diagnosing the issue, i found it was what looks like a heater hose on the drivers side right under the spark plugs that curves up and goes into the firewall... it was a pain but i drained the coolant and removed the blown hose

my question is, is this a hose typically stocked at autozone or oreilly and what should i ask for when im looking to replace the hose?

thanks guys!

No, that's a ~$60 formed hose that you get from Mazda. And you may want to check that your engine is ok still, since blowing that hose can lead to a whole lot of coolant loss.

jus loop the lines and never have a heater again! and you'll be playin on the safe side (I think right?) if you wanna keep pushing your car you gotta take out the crap that goes out while your pushing it

That's an absurdly draconian response to a 20 year old hose failing.
Chances are excellent that a new hose would have held up just fine.

temporarily you could do what i am and get the same size hose at the local auto parts place and forget about the twists and turn for now and just keep checking on the hose until you get a new one.

Plus mazdatrix has the exact molded hose for $30ish
