check the ground wires the main one that causes that problem is on the block not sure where on an n/a search 3500 stumble/hesitation

If it is a s4 that ground is under the intake manifold and if it is a s5 it should be on a little extension on the top of the uim.
Though you might want to make sure you aren't running limp mode if it is a s5.
I forgot to plug my maf back in one day and it was running like that.

how can i tell if my s5 is in limp mode?, it has the same problem

make sure your maf is connected. thanks guys i got it fixed, i made a test light just like the one used to read error codes and i connected it to the tps tester connector and adjusted it like the fsm said and then adjusted the idle speed and its perfect now thanks guys

You should check the codes from the ECU first. The S5 MOP fault is a distinct possibility.
