check the ground wires the main one that causes that problem is on the block not sure where on an n/a search 3500 stumble/hesitation

If it is a s4 that ground is under the intake manifold and if it is a s5 it should be on a little extension on the top of the uim.
Though you might want to make sure you aren't running limp mode if it is a s5. I forgot to plug my maf back in one day and it was running like that. |

Limp MOde
You should check the codes from the ECU first. The S5 MOP fault is a distinct possibility.
