What are good mufflers to put on an 86 N/A?

The best ones are the ones designed to handle the heat of a Rotary motor... that rules out any glass packs, although most steel wool will work okay in a rear muffler.

IMHO, the racing beat are good (i don't think they're the best performance-wise, but i like the way they sound and they look great)
the apexi n1's or hks are probably best for performance

I agree, the performance is better I just don't think it is worth all the extra money. I bought a complete dyno max cat back system for around $250. I've been happy with the results and gotten many compliments on the sound of my car.
