CDI ignition systems don't control a distributer, they control a coil and since our cars have coils of course you can put one on.

You would put it on the leading coil

The MSD box can be either "points" trigger or mag trigger.
Hint, the mag trigger is a way lower voltage than the points trigger.

The FC shoots out a points trigger after the ignitor...BIG HINT.

Yes, it's possible.

Search for the links for the write-up's.

i have a mallory hyfire 6al. practically the same as the MSD 6al. i notice the top of 3rd pulls quite a bit better, other than that it isnt very noticeable besides a lil smoother power up top. id say its worth it.

Check out the MSD website. They should have downloadable manuals for their products. If not try searching around, maybe someone posted a writeup.

This is a writeup on how to install a similiar ignition syetem. The install is exactly the same and I beleive that the wireing colours on the MSD box are even the same as the HI-6 box.
