Moroso Baffle...

Was wondering if this works for the FCs.

According to their application chart it does not.

Call them and ask about one for the fc. I know they make one because I have it in one of their catalogs.

Meh, at that price I am just gonna go with the Mazdacomp one.....

I did talk to Mazda Comp about longer bolts and they gave two part numbers that might be useful....
9979-40-620B 4mm longer than stock
9979-40-616B 8mm longer than stock

Also, I found the part number on Moroso conversion kit. This will convert your pan to having studs instead of bolts. Saw a post that said it will be long enough for the baffle and the extra gaskets.

I can't even begin to think how much easier it is gonna be to install a pan with a stud kit on there! The ONLY thing I think that might be a PITA is the studs in the front of the pan. Right by the crossmember/steering rack. Might just use longer bolts there.

Can somebody add to this thread and tell us how many bolts you need for a stock pan?

There are 21 bolts on the stock pan, plus the three engine mount bolts (but I suggest just using the stock bolts for the mounts). I actulally sell a kit baffle plate with longer stainless steel bolts/washers for $45 shipped in the lower 48.

No, it does not fit with the stock passenger side engine mount.
