MAP sensor wiring??
ok, i know that this is going to sound really silly.....but does anyone know which wires correspond to which positions on the plug of the map sensor (S4 TII). kind of a weird problem but the MAP sensor i have has a weird box inline (i assume is an fcd) and i was inspectigit today when i noticed how brittle and fragile the conections are. long story short: i need to see some kind of wiring so i mix up the wiring. i have both ends (the actual plugs) but need to put wires between them. im not sure if im explaining this understandably, but heres a visual that might help:
thanks
thanks

hailers, thank you so much for your quick response, however, mine does not have the stock wires (so the colors are diferent). so i need to know which pins go to which. i assume that they stay straight and go to their exact oppisite pins? but i just needed to make sure. thanks tho

im trying to delete the fcd by running plain wire from the map sensor to the wiring harness. problem is there are 4 wires, and i need to kno which pins on the map sensor go to which pins on the lead hanging off the harness

We're not comunicating for some reason. The stock wire colors at the boost sensors plug are BLACK/WHITE which is switched batt power...........Brown/Red which is the output wire of the sensor which runs b/t 1-3vdc normally.........Brown/White which is 5vdc ref voltage power that comes from the ECU and feeds the boost sensor.......and either Brown/Black or pure Black for the ground wire for the sensor.
The colors you mention sound like the wire colors of someones aftermarket fuel cut defender. Like one from Racing Beat etc.
A FCD bought from RB would have come with two elect plugs on it. One to mate with the stock harness plug and the other to attach to the boost sensor itself.
OR....you'd hold the boost sensor in your hand looking into the pin side of the jack on the boost sensor. You'd hold it so the elect plugs locking device is at the top. Then the wires on the harness would go to the places shown in my picture. The B/W would go to the top left...........the Black (or possibly brown/black) would go to the top right..........the bottom left would get the Brown/Red........bottom right would get The Brown/White.

****, im so stupid. i just realised that you can just plug the elctrical plug coming off of the main wiring harness directly into the map sensor haha. i was thinking that for some reason you had to have an intermediate harness to connect the two (like the plugs were different and you needed a "patch hyarness" so to speak.) thanks guys, i feel like an idiot....
