Condensation/water in FTP lens
Damn these things. It's been doing it for awile. After I wash my car water gets trapped under the flash to pass lens. I try to get it all absorbed with papertowel asap but no luck this last time. Now I've had condensation inside one of the lenses for about 3 weeks. It always seems to be one or the other, rarely both at the same time... strange.
Basically it looks like cak when this happens. Anyone have a good cure? I figure drilling a small hole in the back of the lens may solve this.
I always hated those things.

Drill a hole in it, back bottom. Attach a 2" piece of vacuum hose over the hole with silicon etc. This way it can breath and dust and dirt will not be able to get inside, at least not so easily. If you have access to an air compressor, hook it up over the hole and put some air in (no high pressure) while the FTP lens is in water. That way you'll know where the crack is and you'll be able to fix it also.
