Making 400rwhp With A To4e
I have a TO4E turbine with a .60 A/R on the compressor side and a .48 A/R on the turbine side. Is 400 RWHP attainable with a stock motor or a Side Port motor...or is that turbine too small to make it? I have an option of having a stock 13B-T overhauled or purchasing a RE Amemiya Side Port motor for $5000+. Can anyone provide some feedback?

A T04E with that small of a exhaust hsg is not going to get you 400RWHP.
a T04E with the following specs will net you about 300+ depedning upon how you tune it with a max of about 380 if its street ported
T04E 57trim compressor (.60 comp hsg)
"P" trim exhaust wheel with a .96 divided ex. hsg.
the big thing to note is that if the turbine yo have has a .48 a/r turbine it is probably a "o" trim wheel at best, more than likely its an even smaller varient. That sounds like the turbine used on a 2.0 litre 1ggz (toyota) or a rb20det (nissan).
FWIW a 1st gen mazda 12AT (83~85 SA22c) uses a TO4E with a "O" trim .70 ex. hsg. as the choice for upgrade. Most of the members are useing a "P" trim .84~.96 for 13bt and getting between 300~390 rwhp.
