thanks board!

i recently "f"ed up my safc.dont ask how, but after hours reading "SEARCH"(my best friend) i got it runnin. it actually runs better then when it was tuned in ny.so thanks to everyone for giving me some knowledge on the topic.

i still have a few questions. 1 i used to shoot flames wot 4th gear.not any more.

2 what is the difference between the two settings on the afc? 1 being i think low thr and high thr. thanks in advance. and thanks again for all your help.

If you "f'd it up" it was most likely either due to bad wiring and/or the initial settings were changed/incorrect.

1) are you using the same map as you were before?

2) two different fuel maps for either high or low throttle situations. low throttle map say to save gas and high throttle map for a more aggressive tune for example.

Flames are usually a result of bad tuning. Running too rich.

thanx guys yeah i will leave the store out who tuned it, but the flap(i think flap if im wrong it is the screen which says in and out) was set 1 in 1 out or 1 in 6 out i dont remember but it was wrong.and i set it to 6 in 6out. the map was totaly different from how they were set first. dont even know how the car was even running before. like i said thanx a million. Damn this board rocks!
