Luchas Oil 2 Cycle Oil Premix?

Couldnt find anything regarding this type of oil so I thought I'd make a post about it.
When i first bought my car I was told that Luchas Oil 2 Cycle would be good for premixing in an rx7. Honestly didnt know if he knew what he was talking about so I just shelved the bottle and never used it. Well that exact same bottle showed up 2 years later, and now that I have a better understanding on the "rules and regulations" of running a rotary, thought I might ask some of you fine gentlemen about this type of premix. it doesnt say anything about Tcw3 rated, or any rating for that matter. Is it ok to run this?

Edit: so I finally got some insight over on the rx8 forums and a rx7 forum post with only 1 reply saying that it wasn't going to hurt anything since it is a 2 cycle oil, but that's basically all I found....
Also saw something about Lucha's Oil's Upper cylinder Lubricant during my search as well.

That's the same stuff I use in my dirt bike. I think it will be fine. I don't use it in the car because I'm cheap. It's about $10 a quart vs $5 for the Penzoil outboard oil so I buy it. I know it seems backwards. The bike gets the good stuff and the car gets the cheap but my OMP is still in place so it's just supplemental anyway. Half the time I don't even bother.

ok, so its more expensive, but does as good a job as the cheaper stuff or is it better? Im running OMP as well. also I heard people talking about lucha's oil's upper cylinder lube as a type of "premix". your thoughts on that.

They're nothing "cheap" about the Pennzoil marine in its performance or quality. Not saying that was being implied, but don't want you getting the wrong impression. It's a forum favorite.

Any TCW3 rated premix will serve you just fine. Some people like the warm and fuzzy feeling they get from using Idemitsu rotary engine oil...short of spending a fortune on that, I wouldn't think too much into this. There are guys making 3-400whp and using Walmart Supertech...so take from that what you will. Point being, why not use a TCW3 oil like recommended and possibly save money while doing it?

I use the Lucas in the bike because it meets the JASO FD spec for two stroke oil and I can get it at O'Reilly's so I don't have to make special trip to the dealer for Yamalube, Maxima, Motul, etc. People on the bike forums always say make sure what you're putting in your bike meets this spec. I'd say it does as good or better job than the Penzoil. That said the Penzoil is TC-W3 rated which is what everyone on here says you should use in a rotary. To be honest I don't always use Penzoil. I've used Quicksilver, Evinrude, and even Supertech. Just whatever I grab at Walmart that's TC-W3 rated. I guess what I was trying to say was if you have some of that oil and want to use it I think it will be fine. If not the Penzoil is a cheaper option. Here is Lucas's info on that oil. https://lucasoil.com/products/2-cycl...ic-2-cycle-oil

I'm not familiar with their "upper cylinder lube" but I think I would stick with a 2-stroke oil.
