Lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer!

wow, lucas HD oil stabilizer reminds me of STP its thick as hell and coats every metal part it touches. i put half a qt in with my oil change idles smoother (although that could be in my head) only thing i was wondering is if it could clog the OMP because it is so thick.

all in all seeing it coat metal like that convinces me it is going to really help.

I use Lucas all the time, it really works well. It allows me to use just conventional oil, but since it helps the engine run cooler, it makes more power, and last longer

cooking oil is different from engine oil. besides, if you dont drive the car, of course, you save gas also.

so anyone knows if this will burn clean? because the problem is just like the debate on sythetic oils, whether it will burn completely without residue.

For those who use it(now you guys got me thinking about picking some up today), how much do you put in with your oil?

i put half a qt in it says use 20% say if your car takes 5 qts put about 1 qt oil stab 4 qts oil.

i have gone about 175 miles and im just above half a tank. thats with romping on it a few times around a country road.

i would suggest this stuff. I used GTX 20W 50 i think or maybe 15 50 and the stabilizer
and it says it blends with mineral or synthetic.

I currently have 2qts in my crankcase, but I premix so I don't know if using the omp would cause any issues (I doubt it though).

Fixed my leaking oil control rings. No more smoke screen....
