Unhappy low acceleration shudder with new Greddy FMIC

Hey everyone

I Just had my new Greddy front mount intercooler installed about a month ago and since i have had it installed i have this shudder when i

it only happens with these parameters

around 3000rpm to 4200rpm
10 Hg Vacuum to 3 Pounds boost
in all gears
15% to 40% throttle

I am sure it is not the trivial grounding issue since ihave already applied the steps to the car.

I almost feels like the air flow meter is having an issue calculating the flow through all the long piping

What else could i check

Check Sig for all mods

You're running a stand alone or using the stock AFM?

Sorry for the late reply. The reason I asked about the AFM is the S4 has to be lever for it to work properly but
S5 AFM doesn't apply.
I was thinking about the secondaries but doesn't sound like it. A long piping will just give a slight lag but not a stutter. I had a hell of a time tracing my problem when I did mine (S4) and it came down to AFM that must be mounted before the turbo. S5 can be mounted anywhere. Is there error code? Did you try adjusting the TPS?

boosted1205 has a point...
Where is the AFM mounted in ralation to the turbo/TB?
If you stuffed it in the same place as stock (i.e. before the turbo), the differential in response at the engine could be significant enough to cause headaches.&nbsp Due to the extra piping, try mount the AFM as close to the TB as possible - this might require you extending the AFM harness to reach that far.&nbsp Most FMIC guys run the AFM's *after* the IC.

Most Japan guys do that to their FC's - just find pics in Option or Carboy.

Better yet, huck the no good POS into the nearest trash can. Go standalone its worth it.
