looking for a restrictor pill

Do anyone know where to get a restrictor pill for the vac line that goes to the boost sensor on S4 FC?

I found a little piece of plastic that fit in the boost line, then drilled a 1/32" hole through it. In my logs, it made a big difference in the boost signal, a lot less fluctuation. your boost sensor affects timing, so your timing will be a lot more steady instead of jumping all over under boost

The stock restrictor has a 0.5mm (0.020") hole through it. Anything close to that will work.

Up for this thread, and of course I've searched
This states that OEM setup has one. Where?
Right now (I'm not the first owner, so don't know) it has just a hose from former ACV (block-off plate with vaccum nipple) to boost sensor. Nothing else.
But I have a gauge to fit, with that pill and a T. I'm thinking of using it on the manifold side.
Ìf it's a restrictor pill, wich I never saw.

Maybe the fact that I have a Racing Beat Fuel Cut Controller also smooth the signal like a capacitor?
I'm sorry but it's a matter of a whole "homogenic" setup wich makes me ask linked questions in different threads

I don't understand why you are looking for a custom solution to a $2 restrictor pill that mazdatrix could send you with probably a couple bucks worth of shipping as well (priority mail option).

No you misunderstood me!
I was not clear if it was OEM or not as FSM does not talk of it. I've checked on the EPC online for my VIN... there's one. I'll get one from my dealer

If you go to an auto parts store, most have a vac line restrictor in the same section as the vacuum connectors.

It's an ORIFICE and you shove it in the vacuum hose to the boost/pressure sensor at the end that attaches to the manifold. It goes up the hose about an inch to inch and a half.

For the poor folks like me:
Use the spary nozzle of you anti-bug gas can.
All the cans I got has this. they're everywhere! I just hope the lenght of the 0.5mm section is no deal as the one I use is flat at the hole side... in fact like the kind of pill they give with mecanical boost gauges.

Any other pills?

New owner working on my turbo, and figured I'd replace the vacuum hoses after reading how important they are for idle issues and. .

Luckily stumbled over the pill in the boost control line when I was cutting it off.

Are there any other pills in any of the other vacuum hoses I should be aware of?
Does the green mark on the line warn of the pill?

Thanks
